BIOGRAPHY
Édouard Ambrose was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
He has been living in Canada since 1968.
ARTISTIC APPROACH
Édouard Ambrose paints resolutely contemporary pictures with fine drawings and strong highlights.
His silhouettes and lonely figures are imprinted in a minimal setting, where intensity of warm colors contrasts with coarse luminescence of cooler tones and roughness of drawings to induce light and movement.
